You’ve been through a lot in your life. Raising a large family was never an easy task but you did it. Next to mother, you’re the strongest woman I’ve had in my life. You’ve been assaulted by thugs, you’ve fallen down stairs, you’ve fractured bones, and you still manage to continue smiling for the family. I’ve spent a fair amount of time visiting you in hospitals thinking “If this was anybody else, they’d be finished.”
When your husband was hospitalized, you did your best to stay strong. And when he died a few years ago, you held onto your life with a firm grip. Eventually all grasps must loosen.
I’ll never forget your smile last week.
Rest in peace, grandma. You can finally meet grandpa again and live happily ever after. Thank you for everything you’ve done for this family.
