Love Is a Marathon

Good things take time; Great things happen all at once.
I’m very happy our lives have not only met at a crossroads, but now we’re running alongside each other. With new relationships, we can’t always hit the ground running. At least with you I know we can run an entire marathon together. Forget the starting line- this is about the finish line. It’s not a race. There is no contest. You and I are configuring a pace we can both sync with, something that can allow us to cross the finish line together. And for two people to want to do that, knowing they aren’t tied down. They aren’t obligated to be exclusive towards each other and can cut their ties with one another whenever. There’s something magical about two people wanting to do this.
Timing is everything, so let’s take our time crossing the finish line.
We’ll always be the winner.
